TERRANCE W. FLANIGAN was admitted to the practice of law in 1974. Prior to establishing the firm, he served as the Appointments Secretary to Governor Pete Wilson and to Governor George Deukmejian with the responsibility of assisting both governors with the appointment of California's judges, agency and department personnel as well as members of the many state boards and commissions. He was the chief lobbyist for the California Manufacturers Association and for the State Bar of California. Also, he served as a lobbyist for the County Supervisors Association where he concentrated on law enforcement and court administrative issues. Prior to coming to Sacramento over 25 years ago, he was a partner in the San Diego law firm of Bamberg, Flanigan & Flanigan and served as a prosecutor in the Criminal Division of the Office of the San Diego City Attorney. |

He and his brother, Timothy, co-authored and teach a continuing education course for lawyers entitled “The Art of Persuasion for Lawyers.” He received his law degree from the University of California at Davis and is a graduate of San Diego State University where he was student body president. He also was a trustee on the California State University Board of Trustees. He is a registered lobbyist with the State of California. |
